A day with Aaaaants!!!!!!!

I was asked by my mother to help her in plucking the mangoes since a lot were falling down. It was a tough time. On our mango tree, there are millions and billions of big ants. When we pluck a mango many ants fall along with it. So we are to be very careful.

My mother took a stick and attached a net onto it for the mangoes not to fall and break. She plucked the first mango which brought a lot of ants with it. They got over me. They started biting me from head to toe. I started fidgeting to get rid of at least two ants. But it was a tough game. I shook and shook and got rid of some but no use, more and more started to climbing over me. I ran from the spot and started getting rid of them. At last everything was out. I had big big bubbles all over my body, but for the all the bites I got a mango as a reward!

No no no... I need some clarity here!! You have bananas, mangoes, etc., growing in your backyard... I can't resist asking but, is it the size of a football field behind your house?? :P Lucky you!! :)

See you when I see you... :)

Hi Susan :)

Instead of getting bitten by the ants so badly, you can always buy mangoes from the fruit stall and eat them to your hearts content and enjoy them. The fruits on the trees can be left for the birds to eat.

After getting so badly bitten I wonder whether you will go anywhere near that mango tree again. It is said: ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY.

The ant in the photo looks very deadly. It must be having at least one litre of venom.

The other day I was standing in the balcony and suddenly I found an uneasy sensation all over my legs. When I looked down I found hundreds of ants swarming all over the floor. Some one had thrown food particles. Fortunately, they were not of the biting variety but I had a tough time in getting rid of them.

Have a good day :)

My goodness, ants can be terrible biters, and it sounds as if they were very angry. I hope you don't itch for too long. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I have enjoyed my visit here.

What if you would wear some sort of a large straw hat, to hopefully catch the ants so they wouldn't fall on you? Yes, ants can really pinch hard and leave red marks.

You must live in some tropical area to have mangoes and bananas growing in your backyard.

Thanks for your visit.
